This talk about CM Punk returning to the WWE has not died down.  The ex-WWE Champion is so popular that fans have not given up hope for his return. Some have even gone as far as making fabricated stories about a come-back. 

Pro Wrestling Smarks is a Facebook page with only 39 likes. However, there are some spam news sites that directly quote the page's reports about CM Punk, such as the rumor that the wrestler is already negotiating with the WWE and that his retirement will end when Sting returns, which should be on Wrestlemania XXXI. 

This story is not true at all. Even Punk's friend Colt Cabana said that things are going well for Punk right now and he'll talk when he wants to.  

"When Punk wants to talk, he will talk," Cabana told Miami Herald. "That's not for me. I enjoy seeing him being happy right now. So that's where I'll leave it. I know he is very happy. Things are going well for him. When he wants to talk, I'm sure he will do it."  

Some people are speculating that the reason behind Punk's silence is to build suspense for his return. Then again, it could really just be that he doesn't have anything to do with the WWE right now, and he is more focused on his other projects.  Only recently, he appeard on "Talking Dead," which, according to Sports World News, is just one of the projects Punk is working on.  He is also involved in a project with Marvel set to come out in February 2015. 

Incidentally, when Punk appeared on "Talking Dead" for the third time last Sunday, he no longer used his real name Phil Brooks as he had done before since he owns the rights to the name CM Punk.

Fans will recall that CM Punk walked out from the WWE in January 2014 and never showed interest in returning, saying that he is "never ever" going back. The WWE, for their part, is keeping even the mention of his name hushed. His cameo on "Queen of the Ring" wasn't even mentioned or shown in the advertisements. 

It looks like there is really bad blood between Punk and the WWE. So for now, it's highly likely that Punk is staying put where he is, and that is outside the ring.
