CM Punk has yet to make his Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) debut and the longer it takes, the more people are growing impatient.

Impatient is actually a safe way to put it, since there are some who have raised more questions on whether Punk can make a difference or eventually flop. A concern is, of course, his ripe age of 37, which by all accounts could be a reason for him to appear less or not at all.

Two personalities are eager to see how Punk fares — Daniel Cormier and Kenny Florian via MMA Junkie.

Cormier counts as among the eager beavers who want to see how Punk can fare in a totally different scene. He is obviously aware of the following that Punk carries but that was probably at a high when word broke out that Punk signed up with the UFC.

For Florian, Punk should have debuted by now. Injuries have, of course, been there to blame but the fact is that his preparation and training seems to be bringing up questions than progress.

There was no clear sign from handler Duke Roufus, although he did call the former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star a natural striker back in March via MMA Fighting.

Take note that at the time, Punk was seen as someone with promise. There were no setbacks yet and everything was uphill. At the time, the excitement was immeasurable until the latter part of 2015.

As it stands now, Punk is recovering from his injuries. That alone is a bad sign which could lead to questions surrounding his preparedness in case he does finally make his debut in 2016.

There is belief that Punk could debut at UFC 200 in July 2016, although such is an uncertainty right now. His training hasn't exactly been a bright spot, so even that could be a big question mark.
