"Conan Exiles" is no longer in an exiled state of early access, as the developers are now getting ready for a full release of the survival first-person game.

Developer and publisher Funcom has announced to the public that "Conan Exiles" will be exiting Steam early access and entering a full release status come May 8, 2018 for the PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Until then, however, players will have to make do with early access status.

It is worth noting that a price hike is also in order once the game gets released as full. The game will increase in price from $30 to $40 for the PC. For the Xbox One, however, it will be $50. The developers of the game have stated in justification that "[a]s is common with Game Preview or Early Access games, it's always been our plan to increase the price to reflect the quality and content of the final game."

They have also ensured that once "Conan Exiles" gets released in full, the game will have received a year of polish, optimization, and improvements hence the price increase. There will also be added content once the game gets released in full such as the "Frozen North biome, new dungeons such as The Dregs, and new features including siege weapons, climbing, the exploration system, the journey system, orbs, traps, and more."

Along with the announcement of a full release next year, Funcom has also revealed a limited collector's edition for the faithful patrons of the game. Likewise, it will also be released on May 8 and will include 6-inch Conan the Barbarian resin figurine, a custom comic book, digital soundtracks, an artbook, a physical game world map, and some e-books related to the "Conan the Barbarian" franchise and mythos by Robert E. Howard.

"Conan Exiles" is a survival first-person game based on the lore of "Conan the Barbarian." The game allows players to hunt, form alliances, build bases, worship gods, and call upon the godly avatars to wipe out enemies. The game holds a Mixed rating on Steam, with 62 percent of all its reviews being positive.
