Conor McGregor and Jose Aldo are nearing their highly anticipated match at Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) 194 next weekend but this early, talk about a rematch is already in the air.

However, it may depend on how their tiff will turn out next weekend in Las Vegas with both fighters brimming with confidence that they will come out on top.

For his part, McGregor has been thrown the idea of a rematch. And while most would expect that The Notorious would eventually take the opportunity to throw some rubbish shots are his Brazilian opponent, his response was somehow sensible and a bit serious depending on how mature one would take his remarks.

As he said via the Daily Mail, it depends on whether the "real" Jose Aldo appears and also on whether or not the Brazilian champion can take the full brunt of his offensive prowess.

Known to be a striker, McGregor is expected to put his striking arsenal to good use which could make or break his chances against the Brazilian champion.

McGregor's camp calls it two ways as far as Aldo is concerned. The fight could end in less than 60 seconds or last just up to round two, depending on how Aldo fares against McGregor. But on both counts, they see the Irishman coming out on top.

Aldo, on the other hand, is determined to win, saying that he is the real champion and that McGregor got to where he is because of his mouth.

The UFC champion believes that the only way to send McGregor tumbling back to earth is by defeating him, although that could probably be just feasible for only that night before the Irishman unleashes a whole new set of proverbial barbs.

UFC 194 will take place at the MGM Grand Garden in Las Vegas on Dec. 12, with the McGregor vs. Aldo fight as one of the most awaited matches that promises an action-packed duel.
