After rumors of cancellation, "Counting On" season 7 is now confirmed to return to the small screens next month. Recently, the promo photo of the series was released and there is one important detail that fans noticed- the absence of Jill and Derick Dillard.

The image was shared on the official Facebook page of the Duggar family. The caption says that it is only 30 days until "Counting On" returns. The photo features the Duggar sisters and their husbands. It includes Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald, Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo, and Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth. But Jill and Derick were not part of the promo photo.

This confirms that the stars are no longer part of the show. However, fans are not happy about their dismissal. Some took to the comment section saying that it is not fair that they are being punished because of their religious beliefs.

One user wrote, "Utterly ridiculous that TLC removed Jill [and] Derick everyone is entitled to free speech. We may not agree but still no reason to remove them from the show!!" Another user notes that one TLC show features multiple spouses and another is about a boy who lives as a girl. These shows are allowed on TLC but those who express their voice based on Biblical principles cannot remain on a show in the network.

To recall, Derick and Jill were fired from the series because of Derick's controversial views about transgender people. Derick shared his views about the reality series, "I Am Jazz" which features transgender Jazz Jennings. He said that the reality show follows a non-reality since transgender is a myth. He added that gender is not fluid and that it is ordained by God.

Fans slammed Derick for his mean comments and later on, TLC announced that they will no longer feature Derick in "Counting On." They added that they do not share Derick's views about Jazz Jennings, clarifying that they are proud of her story.
