An old face will return to ask the assistance of the Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "Criminal Minds."

According to TV Line, FBI Agent Natalie Colfax (Marisol Nichols) will make a comeback when the series returns after its winter break. She will reportedly appear in episode 15 to ask BAU for help. The actress announced that she will reprise the role of the tough operative via a post on Twitter, where she said it was good to be back to the procedural.

In the episode, a string of murders will rock Los Angeles, all of them women. The victims are all found dead in their homes and Colfax believes the perpetrator is someone who is smart enough to be voluntarily invited by his preys. The FBI has reason to believe the UnSub first gains his victim's trust, and when he finally gets asked to visit her home, he attacks and kills. Colfax needs the BAU to create a profile of the suspect, based on his modus operandi.

Meanwhile, CBS recently released the official synopsis for episode 11, which is titled "Drive." According to CarterMatt, the Boston authorities will be baffled to encounter a case where dead bodies are found in the city's public places. Someone very dangerous is stalking the streets of Boston and his method of disposing his kills shows a heartless criminal who sees others as nothing more than animals.

The BAU will be tapped to investigate the case and they will soon establish a connection between the victims and the taxi or ride-share service they rode prior to their tragic deaths. The team believes the trail will lead them straight to the culprit. Will the BAU succeed in flushing out the killer?

"Criminal Minds" season 11 will return on Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2016, at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
