"Criminal Minds" is returning with a new episode this week, which features "Parks and Recreation" star Aubrey Plaza in a guest starring role. In the episode titled "Entropy," the actress is stepping out of her comfort zone to play a dangerous psychopath named Kat, who traps Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler) into going on the worst date of his life.

In the first teaser released for episode 11, Kat is seen pointing a gun at Reid under the table, and Reid realizes that she planted a bomb in the building.

More details about the deadly date is seen in a new promo for the episode, which features Kat and Reid in a restaurant. She asks him to give her his phone and asks him if he likes games, and Reid says that he does.

"Do you win?" Kat asks.

"I always win," Reid confidently replies and after a while he gives her his phone.

"Ok, here's my game. You have 30 minutes to answer every question I ask. And if you lie, I'll know. Because I've spent the past 10 years of my life studying men and their lies, before I kill them," she says.

Kat asks Reid if he believes her, and he says that he does. This seems to please her as she says that he is telling the truth and that he is getting the game. She tells him that if he wins, then he drags her out of the restaurant in handcuffs. If she wins, Reid has to escort her out, "like a gentleman," to make sure that she exits safely.

Reid motions her to come closer, and he whispers to her that considering everything that she has done, she will have to shoot him before he can let her walk out.

Plaza spoke with TVLine to talk about her role on the show, saying that it was very different from the usual comedic parts that she plays. The actress said that Gubler, who is one of her friends, had a hand in her participation on the show and that he sent her the script for "Entropy."

"So I read the script and it's basically a 65-page psychological thriller," said Plaza. She added that although she hasn't watched much of the show, she thought that playing the role of Kat would be "really fun."

"There aren't many opportunities for me to play a psychopath that has planted a bomb in a restaurant who's holding a gun under a table trying to kill an FBI agent," said the actress.

"Criminal Minds" returns on Wednesday, Jan. 13 at 9/8c on CBS.
