Crowder has just announced that his Neon Steeple Tour 2.0 has begun, and he is excitedly calling on all his fans to join the tour if they can.

"Hello friend! It is with great joy that I announce to you that the Neon Steeple Tour 2.0 has begun!!! At least, that's what we're calling it in-house," he wrote on his Facebook page.

"We're not sure if it is proper terminology for what it is that we're doing as it is exactly the same goodness we put forth into our great nation on."

According to Crowder, the "one major delineating factor" between Neon Steeple Tour 1.0 and 2.0 is the fact that they are now going to some of their favourite cities, which they have not toured at previously.

Crowder added that there will even be two good artists joining their tour - Dan Bremnes and Tim Timmons. The singer assured people that the two artists are fantastic.

They actually started the tour in Waco, Texas at his very own Baylor University, and a friend of Crowder's described the evening.

"It was like a laser equipped Cracker Barrel™ was dropped to planet earth by alien beings who fancy the earth music of Johnny Cash, Dexy's Midnight Runners, L.L. Cool J, and George Frideric Handel," he said, although Crowder joked that his friend's description was not entirely accurate.

He will be travelling to nine different states for his tour, which will end on April 25, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Neon Steeple was Crowder's debut studio album released on May 27, 2014 by Sparrow Records and SixStepsRecords. It sold over 22,000 copies in its opening week of sales, and debuted at No 9 in the Billboard 200. As for the Christian Album chart, it debuted at No 1.
