In the next episode of "Curb Your Enthusiasm," Larry David who plays himself on the show is hit with some good news as his play "Fatwa" is going to proceed as planned.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Shucker" was just released recently and showed David, Jeff Greene (Jeff Garlin), his wife Susie (Susie Essman), and their friends having dinner together. Jeff then announces that David's edgy musical "Fatwa" based on the Ayatollah of Iran is going forward into production. "We are having a meeting with Lin-Manuel Miranda later this week," David says proudly to everyone who seems to look a bit surprised. The elderly man wrote the musical early on which received good reviews. However, the government of Iran was apparently offended and allegedly threatened David's life. Since then, he has been very suspicious of his surroundings and extra careful.

Meanwhile, David now seems to be very particular about people who wear head pieces like hats or caps. He sees Leon Black (J.B. Smoove) and notices the doo-rag on his head. David then tells him to get rid of his head piece because it might turn off his visitor. The famous musical director Miranda is going to David's house for a meeting so he does not want to give him a bad impression.

In the last episode, David encountered an Iranian assassin who was supposed to kill him. However, the old man defended the foreigner when people were hounding him for cutting in line. The assassin was very grateful that he pleaded to his leaders to call off the killing of David who was there listening to the deliberations. In the end, the council agreed that David was a good man and that his musical could proceed as planned.

"Curb Your Enthusiasm" season 9 episode 9 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Nov. 26 at 11 p.m. EST on HBO.
