A uniquely customized version of Ford's 2016 Shelby GT350R will be auctioned off by the company.

Ford has also announced that the proceeds from the auction will be benefiting the American Cancer Society.

The car has been customized especially for the purposes of the auction, according to iDigital Times.

The look of the 2016 Shelby GT350R has been altered quite a bit just for the purpose of the event. The customized version currently features an Oxford white coating on the outside that has been accented with a bright blue racing stripe emblazoned across it. The look of the car's exterior has been in such a way that it can match up ideally with its interior and thus make it more attractive in the eyes of potential bidders.

Aside from the customized paint job of the 2016 Shelby GT350R set to be part of the auction, it also features a Ford Performance Parts rear sit kit, according to Carscoops. It will even feature the unique instrument panel badging and sill plates that have come to be associated with Cattle Baron's Ball in Dallas, the same place where the auction is set to take place.

According to Ford Motor Company Group Vice President Hau Thai-Tang, the tweaks to the car have been made in order to secure the highest bid possible for charity.

In terms of the other features that people can expect from the 2016 Shelby GT350R, it will also have voice-activated SYNC technology as well as other useful features such as Automatic Phone Book Download, Hands-free Calling, Music Search and Control, No Extra Charge 911 Assist, and also access to Siri. It's worth noting that the aforementioned technological features are present in the customized version of the 2016 Shelby GT350R going to the auction as well as in the standard model that people can purchase elsewhere.

The live auction of the customized 2016 Shelby GT350R is set to take place on Sept. 26.
