Cyber Monday 2014 offers to follow Black Friday deals

Those who would rather spend Thanksgiving — and the Friday following it — with their families than line up in retail stores can still get big discount deals by waiting until Cyber Monday to do their shopping. Holiday shoppers, too, who decide to make their discounted purchases during Black Friday can continue buying affordable items without leaving the comforts of their own home on Cyber Monday, when online retailers present their offers through their websites.

This year, Cyber Monday falls on Dec. 1, and shoppers can begin to purchase a lot of products with the time-limited reductions.

According to Kens5 News, Cyber Monday deals offer 10 to 14 percent more savings compared to those offered during Black Friday. Most of the products available include appliances, television sets, as well as gaming bundles. There will also be several clothing retail lines that will sell their items at discounted prices, including Dorothy Perkins and Urban Outfitters.

One of the first online retailers that announced their planned Cyber Monday deals is Powerskin. According to their announcement, the online store will sell their PoP'n Battery pack for just a penny. The product normally sells for $49.99 plus shipping fee. But for Cyber Monday sale, shoppers will get the product for only $7.99 including shipping and handling.  The product can be used for both Android and Apple smartphones for charging.

Powerskin's offer is available for all consumers located in the continental United States on Dec. 1, from 12 a.m. up to 11:59 p.m.  The orders can be placed on the retailer's website, http://www.power-skin.com/popn/. Shoppers just have to use the code "penny" before checking out the product to avail of the offer. However, only one product can be purchased per email address.

More online retailers are expected to announce their Cyber Monday deals in the coming days.
