Game developer CD Projekt Red already announced one of its AAA games three years ago, "Cyberpunk 2077." It seems that this is their crown jewel at the moment and many fans are looking forward to playing it.

Right after the success of "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," fans got a little more hyped on how the game developer will present its next game. Fortunately, the company recently held their financial results conference in Poland and this was the perfect venue for Adam Kiciński, the company president, and Adam Badowski, the company's studio head, to share some thoughts to their investors and fans about their future project.

According to DualSHOCKERS, Badowski said that "Cyberpunk 2077" is far from being ready. He also added that the studio wants to make all their upcoming games "even better, even bigger, even more revolutionary." CD Projekt Red's "The Witcher 3" has set a high standard for them and they want to go farther than that.

Kiciński also reportedly mentioned that the company will be expanding and going deeper in game development. He announced at the conference that CD Projekt Red will be doubling the size of its work force, from the current 400 game developers to 800 or more. There will be a total of four teams for the initial plan.

CD Projekt Red stated in its press release, "The Witcher 3 set the bar high and provided a reference point for our future growth. We continue to develop and strengthen global brands by exploiting our proprietary technologies and drawing upon our accumulated know-how. Our team of experienced, talented and passionate professionals is fully capable of creating a videogame from scratch - starting with a fresh concept, then proceeding with development and marketing activities, and finalizing the project with global distribution. Thanks to GOG Galaxy, GOG.com is also opening a new chapter in its history."

Right now, company's strategic plan is to release two big games between 2017 and 2021. One is still unannounced but is currently on an experimental stage, with "Cyberpunk 2077" being the other.

"Cyberpunk 2077" is an upcoming futuristic action role-playing game where super advanced technology meets a collapsed human society. No release date is available for the game.
