Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones previously aired his frustrations as the team struggles to win with franchise quarterback Tony Romo missing action due to a collarbone injury.

Jones said last Monday via the Star-Telegram, "I am stunned that we haven't been able to win more games without Tony. And I would have thought that we could have coached it up enough, and put it together enough, that we would not have lost those games without Romo early. We would be in better shape than we are right now."

Romo suffered a broken collarbone in Week 2 and missed their next seven games, which were all defeats.

The 35-year-old quarterback returned in Week 11 and helped the Cowboys end the seven-game losing skid with a victory over the Miami Dolphins.

But the following week (Week 12), taking on the unbeaten Carolina Panthers, Romo reinjured the collarbone and was out for the season, as Dallas again returned to its losing ways.

Good thing for the Cowboys, they finally won their first game without Romo last Sunday (Week 13) when they topped the Washington Redskins.

Despite the win, Jones seems dissatisfied and aired his thoughts last Monday about the Cowboys' coaching staff, which he followed with good words on Friday in his weekly segment on on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones said he respects the coaching staff and also praised defensive coordinator Rod Marinelli for the defense Dallas had versus the Reskins.

However, the Cowboys owner added, "The point is you would have thought that we would have been able, even though we were short-handed with our talent on the field, you would have thought that we could get some of those losses we had with wins."

The Cowboys are currently at 4–8 this season and are last in the National Football Conference (NFC) East, with the Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, and the New York Giants, who all have a 5–7 records, sitting above them in the standings.
