Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban said there was no issue with what the Los Angeles Clippers did to keep center DeAndre Jordan and shared his encounter with Clippers owner Steve Ballmer when they met in a league meeting Tuesday.

The two owners were involved in the drama-filled saga because of Jordan who verbally committed to the Mavericks but last week re-signed with the Clippers.

Cuban discussed the meeting with Ballmer via his Cyber Dust app saying "It started off more than a little frigid, but we both cleared the air on a few things."

He added, "I told him exactly what I told other owners, I didn't have a problem with his Hail Mary approach to keeping a player. I understood why they did it. And even how they did it. They got their player back. End of story."

Cuban was talking about the Clippers' successful attempt of luring Jordan to return to Los Angeles.

Last week Ballmer, head coach Doc Rivers with All-Stars Blake Griffin and Chris Paul were among the contingent from the Clippers that went to Jordan's home in Los Angeles and had a meeting with him.

The meeting was short according to reports but they never left until Jordan was legal to sign a new deal after the NBA lifted the league-wide moratorium on roster business.

Cuban also addressed in his message via the app the NBA moratorium saying that it is an issue that does not need to be fixed.

"There are still a few unresolved issues that the NBA will have to work through but one I don't feel is an issue is the moratorium. Nothing that happened with this deal was the result of the moratorium," Cuban stated.

Following the failure to sign Jordan, the Mavs focused on other targets, inking guard Wesley Matthews to a maximum deal.

They also traded for center Zaza Pachulia to address their issue at the middle and acquired point guard Deron Williams who asked his former team the Brooklyn Nets to waive him.
