Former "Dance Moms" host Abby Lee Miller will be released from prison on Feb. 20, after only serving half her sentence.

Miller recently took to Instagram to share her story with an accompanying photo last Sunday, Jan. 21. "Sometimes in life you make mistakes I trusted the wrong people and didn't pay any attention to things I should of [have]. I'm more than sorry for the mistakes I have made," Miller wrote.

The reality TV star also dismissed rumors that she had been enjoying a comfortable life in prison saying, "My world flipped upside down when I had to enter prison, I did so with grace. The stories you read about me been [being] a princess are untrue. I have made friends with both inmates and staff, I've tried to better myself, participated in anything offered to me and I am a better person for this experience." The Instagram post has since been deleted from her page.

Miller was charged with bankruptcy fraud in early 2017, and allegations of smuggling some AU$120,000 into the United States. Miller was sentenced to 366 days in prison, of which, she has only served half.

The reality TV show "Dance Moms" has been confirmed for a season 8 with teen star Chloe Lukasiak returning to the show. Season 7 of the show faced complications in 2017 due to Miller's case and incarceration, and continued to air without Miller for the remaining episodes until its end. There has been no news of Miller returning to the show.

Meanwhile, Lukasiak has announced the publication of her first book, "Girl on Pointe - Chloe's Guide to Taking on the World," according to a report by Entertainment Weekly. In the book, Lukasiak shares her experiences on "Dance Moms" and the events after she left the show in 2014. The book features inspirational and creative writing segments.
