It was a bittersweet turnout for TV personality and beauty queen Vanessa Lachey when she managed to keep on dancing with grace despite a sudden wardrobe mishap. Vanessa with her partner and professional dancer Maksim Chmerkovskiy pulled off a brilliant performance on ABC's dance competition "Dancing With the stars" season 25. Despite a strong performance, Vanessa's husband, Nick Lachey, was eliminated.

While performing during the Oct. 23 episode, Chmerkovskiy accidentally stepped on Vanessa's long skirt and it quickly fell off. However, instead of a tumble or missing a step, she made it through and got 36 points from the judges.

Vanessa opened the performance with a singing piece and quickly started gliding across the dance-floor to the tune of "Let's Be Bad" from the musical "Smash" with her partner. The entire dance routine was flawless despite the wardrobe malfunction.

Meanwhile, Nick and his partner, also a worldwide recognized dancer, Peta Murgatroyd were eliminated. The pair got a final score of 26 out of 40 with their Samba routine with a hint of the Wild West. In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Nick said he was disappointed but happy with what he and his partner achieved throughout the competition. "I know we gave a 100% every week and did everything we could do," he said. The theme of episode 7 was "A Night at the Movies."

The dancing pair of Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold garnered the most points with their Rumba performance as they moved along Ed Sheeran's hit song, "Supermarket Flower." The judges and viewers commended Fisher for his fluid movements and grace. They got a 39 score from the judges.

"Dancing With the Stars" season 25 is done with seven episodes and there are still eight pairs remaining to battle it out. It airs Mondays at 8 a.m. EDT on ABC.
