The second week of "Dancing With the Stars" saw the contestants paying tribute to their respective hometowns with their performances on Monday night. The stakes are high as week 2 is a double elimination week, and by the end of the first night, one celebrity got sent home.

Here are the performances and scores for the second week of the competition:

Hayes Grier and Emma Slater
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 22 (out of 30)

For his entrance, Hayes rode on an electric motorcycle to the dance floor, and the social media star and his partner danced to "This is How We Roll."

"You can dance!" Carrie Ann Inaba said, adding that he didn't need the motorbike at all. "You have such an interpretative quality. You know you're telling a story, and we're all listening."

Alexa PenaVega and Mark Ballas
Dance: Salsa
Score: 24

After Ballas told her that she was distracted while dancing with him last week, Alexa was in it to win it this time as she danced an energetic salsa in honor of her Florida hometown.

"She delivers a wild salsa," Bruno Tonioli said. "Wild and wonderful!"

Chaka Khan and Keo Motsepe
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 15

After having trouble remembering the choreography last week, the singer did better this week dancing to "Chicago" by Frank Sinatra.

"When you started dancing, it was a very nice improvement," said Julianne Hough, and the judge thanked her for listening to her suggestion last week to "use the space around you."

Paula Deen and Louis Van Amstel
Dance: Rumba
Score: 19

After being embarrassed by her low score last week, the former Food Network star was in fighting form this week as she danced the rumba to "Midnight Train to Georgia" for her hometown of Savannah, Georgia.

"You were amazing out there! I was really impressed," said Inaba.

Alek Skarlatos and Lindsay Arnold
Dance: Jazz
Score: 23

Dancing Jazz to Journey's "Don't Stop Believin" for his hometown of Sacramento, California, Skarlatos effortlessly twirled and lifted his partner and the judges were happy with it.

"You were right there, equal with Lindsay," Hough told him.

"You combine power with grace, and a great honesty as a performer," said Tonioli.

Kim Zolciak and Tony Dovolani
Dance: Quickstep
Score: 19

The Bravo star got the lowest score last week and was very disappointed with herself, but her Quickstep for her hometown of Atlanta was an improvement from her last performance as she was able to master the footwork and fun choreography.

"It was so much better," Hough said of her performance, and Hough told Dovolani to "push" Zolciak, saying that she has a lot of potential.

Nick Carter and Sharna Burgess
Dance: Jive
Score: 21

After getting the highest score of the night last week, the Backstreet Boy was pressured to perform well this week. While dancing the jive for his hometown of Tampa, Florida, Carter slipped because of his shoes, and while Hough said the performance was good, it wasn't as good as last week's dance.

Andy Grammer and Allison Holker
Dance: Jive
Score: 21

Dancing to "Only the Good Die Young" for his New York hometown, Grammer appeared to be off in several parts of the dance and Tonioli told him, "I loved the attack, I loved the energy. Listen, it's all very well, but you went off several times. You can be more precise."

Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough
Dance: Tango
Score: 25

The Australian star danced the tango to AC/DC, and once again the judges were impressed with her energy and her ability on the dance floor, and Irwin and Hough got the highest scores of the night.

"You were a rock star!" Hough exclaimed.

"You guys just saw that, did she rock your world or what?" Inaba asked the audience.

Tamar Braxton and Val Chmerkovskiy
Dance: Cha Cha
Score: 24

Dancing to "We are Family" for her hometown of Maryland and for her family, Braxton gave a glamorous and sassy performance which was much applauded by the crowd.

"Tamar, you are so in your element in this dance," said Hough.

Carlos PenaVega and Witney Carson
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 24

Carlos' foxtrot for his hometown of Missouri was smooth and graceful, and the Big Time Rush member was light on his feet during his performance.

"You're a contender," said Inaba. "You had incredible posture and you were sophisticated.

Gary Busey and Anna Trebunskaya
Dance: Foxtrot
Score: 18

Busey's foxtrot to "Wouldn't it Be Nice" by the Beach Boys was well received by the judges, and Tonioli called his partner a "miracle worker."

Victor Espinoza and Karina Smirnoff
Dance: Jive
Score: 17

Espinoza danced the jive to "La Bamba" for his home in Hidalgo, Mexico, and the jockey appeared to be having some trouble keeping time but made up for it with his enthusiasm.

"If I could give you a score for enthusiasm and cuteness, you would get a 10 from me," said Inaba.

At the end of the night, Chaka Khan was eliminated from the competition, and the star thanked everyone saying, "I am so happy to have met everybody. I made great friends here."

More dances and another elimination round is in store for the contestants for Week 2 of "Dancing with the Stars." The competition continues on Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 9 p.m. on ABC.
