'Dancing with the Stars' 2015: Full cast and pro-partners revealed for season 21

After months of speculation, the season 21 cast of "Dancing With the Stars" has been revealed on Wednesday, Sept. 2, on "Good Morning America." For the upcoming season, the batch of contestants includes a Backstreet Boy, a former Food Network star, a Braxton sister, and a real-life hero. 

A short clip of the contestants individually dancing the "Whip and Nae Nae" was shown on "GMA," and before they came out on stage, "DWTS" host Tom Bergeron revealed how the celebrities flew all the way from Los Angeles to New York to be on the show. 

Here are the celebrity contestants and their partners for season 21 of "Dancing With the Stars." 

Kim Zolciak with Tony Dovolani 

Zolciak, 37, is a former cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta." She is set to have a new spin-off show in Bravo with NeNe Leakes, who also took a turn on the "DWTS" dance floor in season 18. Zolciak currently stars in her own show called "Tardy for the Party." Her partner, Dovolani, won season 15 with Melissa Rycroft. 

Tamar Braxton with Val Chmerkovskiy 

Braxton, 38, stars with her sisters on the WeTV reality show "Braxton Family Values." She is also a Grammy nominated R&B singer-songwriter and a talk show host on "The Real." Her partner, Chmerkovskiy, won the Mirror Ball Trophy last season with Rumer Willis. 

Gary Busey with Anna Trebunskaya 

Busey, 71, appeared on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" last Tuesday atop a white horse to announce that he was competing in the show. The Oscar nominated actor is no stranger to reality shows as he has competed in "Celebrity Big Brother" and "Celebrity Apprentice." 

Paula Deen with Louis van Amstel 

Deen, 68, is a celebrity chef who used to be on the Food Network. She is a cookbook author who has published 14 books and she currently stars in the new Paula Deen channel on Roku. 

Hayes Grier with Emma Slater 

Grier, 15, is the youngest contestant of the season. He is a social media star who rose to fame on Vine. 

Nick Carter with Sharna Burgess 

Carter is a member of the Backstreet Boys. The 35-year old is also currently working on a film titled "Dead 7" which will star his band mates Howie Dorough and AJ McLean and NSYNC's Joey Fatone. 

Victor Espinoza with Karina Smirnoff 

Espinoza is the jockey who won the Triple Crown in 2015 on his horse, American Pharoah. The 43-year old is paired with Smirnoff, who won season 13 with J.R. Martinez. 

Bindi Irwin with Derek Hough 

Irwin is a wildlife expert, an actress, and is the daughter of the late "Crocodile Hunter" star Steve Irwin. The 17-year old is partnered with Hough, who is a five-time "DWTS" champion. 

Andy Grammer with Allison Holker 

Grammer, 31, is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. His single "Honey, I'm Good" is his biggest hit to date, making it to the number 9 spot of the Billboard Hot 100 list. 

Chaka Khan with Keo Motsepe 

The legendary singer is known for her hit songs "I Feel for You" and "I'm Every Woman" among others. The 62-year old has won 10 Grammy Awards in her career and is also known as the Queen of Funk. 

Alexa Vega with Mark Ballas 

Vega is known for starring in the "Spy Kids" movies and she also stars in the ABC show "Nashville." The 27-year old is paired with Ballas, who has won the title both in season 6 and season 7 of the show. She is married to Carlos Pena Vega, who will also be competing in the show. 

Carlos Pena Vega with Witney Carson 

The 26-year old is a former Nickelodeon star and is part of the boy band Big Time Rush. He is partnered with Carson, who won the trophy in season 19 with Alfonso Ribeiro. 

Alex Skarlatos with Lindsay Arnold 

Skarlatos, 22, was hailed as a hero in France earlier this month when he and two of his friends helped to stop a gunman aboard a Belgian train.

Season 21 of "Dancing With the Stars" premieres on Monday, Sept. 14 on ABC.
