Kim Zolciak appeared to be doing much better on her second week on "Dancing With the Stars," with her scores greatly improving after her week one performance. Judges Bruno Tonioli, Julianne Hough, and Carrie Ann Inaba said the Bravo star had real potential to be a contender on the show. But after her Tuesday performance, the reality star had a health scare — it was revealed that she suffered a transient ischemic attack or a mini stroke upon her return to Atlanta.

The 37-year-old celebrity posted a photo on Instagram on Wednesday, Sept. 23, showing her lying down on a hospital bed. It was captioned, "The last 24hrs have been whirlwind! I landed yesterday morning from LAX (took the red eye right after DWTS) I got home and within minutes suffered a TIA (mini stroke)."

Zolciak added that the left side of her body went "completely numb" and that she was unable to speak. The former "RHOA" star said that she was thankful for her family's quick reactions when she had the mini stroke.

An insider told E! News that Zolciak wasn't feeling well after taking the red eye flight back to Atlanta after the live show last Tuesday, Sept. 22, and that she didn't feel well so she checked herself into the hospital.

On Thursday, Zolciak posted another update on the photo sharing site which shows her husband, Kroy Biermann, hugging her while she lies on the hospital bed.

"All that matters…FAMILY pic taken last night by @briellebiermann," she wrote.

A source told E! News that it is unlikely that the star will be released tonight. The website reported that her "DWTS" partner, Tony Dovolani, has been seen visiting her while she recovers. Zolciak shared a photo of Dovolani during his visit, revealing that her dance partner "has been by my side for 2 days."

"He even brings me my favorite coffee. Although he is always dancing around the room," she wrote

There is no word yet on whether Zolciak will be back to compete on the hit ABC competition show, but E! reports that when the mother of six does get released, a doctor will have to sign off on her return to the show.
