Season 21 of "Dancing With the Stars" saw Bindi Irwin winning the Mirror Ball Trophy along with her partner, Derek Hough. Bindi's success on the hit ABC competition show was celebrated all around the U.S. and also in her native Australia,as the 17-year-old had no dancing experience prior to being on the show. But will season 22 include another member of the Irwin family on the dance floor?

According to reports, Bindi's younger brother, Robert, is being considered for the next season of "DWTS." Celebrity Dirty Laundry reports that Terri Irwin revealed to an Australian reporter that her son "is being eyed by producers." Speaking with Australia's "Today Show," Robert appeared to be all set to give it a whirl on the dance floor when the ABC show returns next year.

"It would be a lot of fun—it would be pretty incredible," said Robert, who was accompanied by Bindi and Terri on the morning show.

He also said that he was up for the challenge, though being on the show would be very different from what he's used to back home.

"For us this is completely different from anything we have ever done," he explained, adding that their family is "not used to all of these sparkles and rhinestones and heels."

"It's a really different situation to jumping on crocs and catching snakes in the mud," he said.

During Bindi's run on the show, her partner praised her for being so professional and for learning so quickly in such a short period of time. Hough also revealed on the show that Bindi had never worn heels before but eventually learned how to dance in them. The young wildlife conservationist won the hearts of fans with her bubbly personality, but she touched a lot of people when she dedicated a dance to her father, the late Steve Irwin.

In her interview with "Today," the 17-year-old said that everything she does is to make her father proud and that she wants to make sure that his legacy is honored.

On Robert possibly joining "DWTS," Bindi told her brother, "You would be very good at it!"

For now, it is unclear whether Robert, who just celebrated his 12th birthday this week, would be joining season 22 or not. According to the Daily Mail, he is currently not considered old enough to compete. The show's youngest contestant ever is "Hunger Games" actress Willow Smith, who was 14 when she competed in the show's 20th season.

"Dancing With the Stars" returns on March 21, 2016 on ABC.
