It looks like two sports superstars will be joining "Dancing with the Stars" season 22. The recent social media activities of NFL star Antonio Brown and UFC fighter Paige VanZant suggested that they could be two of the celebrities included in the lineup.

Out of the blue, VanZant followed the Twitter account of the reality competition just recently but quickly unfollowed. As per Buddy TV, she and her manager have been giving clues about the fighter taking a break from the octagon and that maybe because she will be gracing the ballroom.

VanZant may be known for brawling but she also has an extensive dance background. She spent more than a decade studying routines like jazz, ballet and hip-hop. This could certainly play out to her advantage in "Dancing with the Stars" season 22, should she join.

On the other hand, Brown's Twitter following list includes "Dancing with the Stars" and dance pro Sharna Burgess. While this won't entirely suggest that he is part of the "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 lineup, Brown's career as a football star is the biggest giveaway.

In the history of the dance reality competition, football superstars have been regular contenders. Majority of the "DWTS" seasons were graced by folks from the sport and some of them even made it to the finals. Burgess, for one, once was paired with NFL star Keyshawn Johnson.

This hints that Brown is poised to battle for the mirror ball trophy in "Dancing with the Stars" season 22. After all, he is notorious for his zone dancing on the field and his incredible agility. This could certainly help him bust some moves.

As for the rest of the "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 roster, there are rumors that other sport stars like New York Giants running back Rashad Jennings and Carolina Panthers star Jonathan Stewart are also joining.

Ben Higgins from "The Bachelor" and "Orange Is the New Black" star Taryn Manning, "Chasing Life" star Italia Ricci and Jodie Sweetin from "Fuller House" are also expected to compete.

"Dancing with the Stars" season 22 will premiere on March 21. The roster reveal will take place during "Good Morning America" on March 8.
