Dancing with the Stars' Sadie Robertson thanks God for the opportunity to appear on the show

Sadie Robertson is clearly having the time of her life on Dancing With the Stars, and the judges and voting public certainly seem to love her as much as she loves being on the show.

She and Mark Ballas are serious contenders for that illustrious mirror ball and last night was no exception, with their interpretation of the rumba going down well with the judges.

Ballas said previously it would be "age appropriate" and in the end, they beautifully pulled off a routine that had a romantic and tender note, rather than sensual.

It was another week of high marks from the judges, with Bruno Tonioli and Julianne Hough giving it an 8, Carrie Ann Inaba a 9 and Pitbull a 10 for a total score of 35.

Sadie was on Instagram last night expressing her gratitude to God for the chance to be on the show.

She shared John 20:29 as she wrote "thankful to my Father who has given me the opportunity to have this amazing experience on @dancingabc".

She added: "ALL glory to God for this amazing journey."

Before she set off to LA to appear on the series, she revealed to her Instagram followers that she was taking a set of devotional notes with her from her mom, saying: "God comes with me no matter where I go".

Last week the 17-year-old revealed her secret to staying calm before performances was to look to God.

"People always ask me what I do to calm myself down before the show & honestly I just let God give me advise, because his is ALWAYS the best," she shared, along with verses Exodus 14.14 and Hebrews 10.35.

As dance routines and outfits can often be a little saucy, Sadie has been getting her dad Willie Robertson's approval for each dress.

But that doesn't mean she's had to go out on the dance floor dressed in a sack. Last night's dress was a super-elegant one shoulder, soft pink gown. Other costumes that got the greenlight from dad included a fun fringed mini dress and a Duck Dynasty inspired frock.
