The semifinals night of 'Dancing With the Stars' brought out the competitive side of the remaining couples, and with everyone stepping up their game in hopes of bringing home the golden Mirror Ball Trophy, at this point, it's anyone's guess who will be eliminated from the competition.

On Tuesday, Tom Bergeron had a quick chat with Noah Galloway and Jamie Boyd, who got engaged on live TV a mere 24-hours ago. Bergeron told the army vet that the producers didn't tell him what was going to happen, just in case Galloway changes his mind. Galloway said that he didn't tell anybody except for Riker Lynch. He asked for permission from Lynch to propose since he was going to do it before the R5 band member's dance. According to Galloway, Riker was supportive and very excited about the proposal.

It was time to learn which three pairs have made it to the grand finals. Lynch and his pro partner, Allison Holker, were declared safe. The pair, who got two perfect scores last night, seemed very surprised and Lynch was rendered almost speechless.

"I've been pushing Riker every single week, giving him these really hard routines and he has been there, every step of the way, 100 percent by my side," said Holker of her partner.

Though Galloway and Sharna Burgess had the lowest combined scores from their two routines, they were the second couple to learn that they would be competing in the finals.

Of their journey in the competition, Burgess told Erin Andrews, "It's been different in almost every way imaginable. It's been an incredible journey and I've had to stretch myself creatively in almost every direction and that has been such a gift for me, to be pushed like that and to get to know Noah and be inspired by him every single day that I walk in the studio.

Finally, it came down to Nastia Liukin and Derek Hough, and Rumer Willis and Valentin Chmerkovskiy. Both pairs are considered among the strongest pairs in the competition since the first week of the show, and both Liukin and Willis have managed to capture the hearts of fans with their positive attitude and spirit that they've shown during the competition.

"The couple who is leaving right now is…Nastia and Derek," said Bergeron. Relieved, Chmerkovskiy fell to his knees and hugged Willis, who looked overwhelmed to be in the finals.

As the audience and the judges gave Liukin a standing ovation, the Olympic gymnast said, "I definitely wanted to make it to the finale, especially because last night was so great to be able to dance with Derek again, but I thought—last night was kind of a magical night not just for us but for everyone here—and I just want to thank Len specifically for giving us that magical dance and to be able to finish my experience with that dance meant a lot."

Watch Lynch, Willis, and Galloway compete for the Mirror Ball Trophy at the grand finals of 'Dancing With the Stars' next week on Monday, May 18 at 8pm on ABC.
