Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough just recently won the Mirror Ball Trophy but it's not too early to start talking about who might get a shot at winning it next year. Much like the previous seasons, "Dancing with the Stars" season 22 is looking like it might get an athlete onboard plus a few other interesting names, too. Sadly, the show might also lose one of its crowd favourites.

There is strong buzz around New York Giants' Rashad Jennings joining "Dancing with the Stars." The speculation started with the NFL running back's appearance on TMZ, where he admitted that he loves the reality dancing competition.

But it seems like that might not happen in season 22, though, and his fans will have to wait until he's done with football. "I would love to do it. You know, I plan on doing it when the time is right. I'm kinda focused on football right now," admitted the 30-year old athlete.

Another name that has gained support for future seasons is Bindi's 12-year old brother, Robert as he already made his 'debut' by supporting his sister on television. But, according to Realty Today, he is still too young to join the competition's 22nd season.

While the two names remain a question mark for season 22, one name is already confirmed — but he is not competing but rather judging the show again. Len Goodman has come out during the "DWTS" season 21 finale to announce his comeback on the show after being a judge on the UK's "Strictly Come Dancing."

"Back on DWTS season 22. So nice people are welcoming me back. Be careful what you wish for," he announced on his official Twitter account @GrumpyLGoodman.

While there are hellos and a welcome back, there might also be a goodbye. Current pro winner, Derek Hough, hinted at season 21 being his last season. In his interview with E! Online after his latest win, Hough said that if he does not return for another season, his win with Bindi "isn't a bad way to go out."

Nothing is set in stone yet. Stay tuned for further news on "Dancing with the Stars" season 22.
