"Dancing With the Stars" Halloween Night ended with a heartbreaking double elimination. Sixth to be eliminated in the competition are actress Vanessa Lachey and World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) star Nikki Bella. In the ninth of season 25, Lachey and Bella both got the lowest score of 24 out of 30 with their partners, Maksim Chmerkovskiy (Lachey) and Artem Chigvintsev (Bella).

Lachey and her partner's performance stood out despite a wardrobe malfunction during the eight episode. In this episode, however, the pair failed to impress the judges with their Paso Doble dance routine to the tune of Ruelle's "Game of Survival."

Bella and Chigvintsev's Jive performance of Bette Midler's "I Put a Spell on You" did not take its effect on the judges. The pair made small mistakes and the judges were looking for more energy from the two. After being the only remaining contestants up for elimination, everyone was shocked to hear the announcement of a double elimination.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Bella and Lachey expressed their sadness for the decision but are both thankful for the entire experience. Bella said, "It's sad and it's unfortunate, because cause I just truly have loved my time here."

Bella and Lachey fell out of favor from the judgers, while singer Jordan Fisher and actor Frankie Muniz both got perfect scores. The performance of Fisher with his partner Lindsay Arnold was described flawless from the beginning until the end. They made use of Martin Garrix's hit track, "Animal," as they dived into a brilliant Paso Doble routine. Guided by the song "Every Breath You Take" by Chase Holfelder, Muniz and Witney Carson showcased their most emotional performance yet in a Contemporary dance form.

During the team round, Team Phantom managed to defeat team Monster Mash in terms of finesse. The competition is now down to only six pairs. New episodes air every Monday at 8 p.m. EST on ABC. The upcoming episode will feature season 17 runner-up Corbin Blue, season 19 champion Alfonso Ribeiro, and season 1 champion Kelly Monaco in a trio routine.
