Daniel Bryan, a fan-favorite who has captured the adoration of many World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) fans for his determination and inspirational performances, has been sidelined until now; although it seems that his time off has not dampened his spirit one bit.

Speaking at the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast, Bryan shed light on his colorful career and how he has been able to keep an open mind despite the problems that came his way.

This, of course, included that incident back in 2010 when Bryan was fired momentarily. As any wrestler would take it, being fired by the WWE CEO Vince McMahon is certainly a hard pill to swallow. But rather than sulk and worry about his next move, Bryan kept an open mind and knew that he would someday return to the WWE scene.

And as everyone knows, Bryan did just that until injuries started to pile up, keeping him in cold storage.

His latest debacle concerns his neck injury which sidelined him for the most part of last year. Bryan hurt his neck once again during a live event last April and he has since been written off the physical WWE action.

So, is he retiring from wrestling?

In the interview, Bryan never mentioned anything about retiring due to his injury. In fact he seemed to be veering away from giving an answer as his actual health is still up in the air.

But he did say that there may be one thing that could tempt him to retire, and this is if he would have his first child with wife Brie Bella. Both want to have a baby and for Bryan, such could be a temptation for him to hang up his tights so he could concentrate on being a parent.

But of course, that is not 100% sure; and if he could balance being a father and a wrestler when the time comes, Bryan said he would do just that.
