"Daredevil" has been one of the darkest shows in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, with several key characters engulfed in violence, and some even getting killed off with no remorse. Actor Charlie Cox, who plays Matt Murdock or Daredevil, hints that season 3 will continue this trend and that two major characters may die.

Speaking to Screen Geek, Cox explained that the show was quite different from other comic book shows and films because it was not afraid to kill off important characters. The actor cited Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) as an example. Urich is both a pivotal character in the "Daredevil" mythos and in Spider-Man, but he was killed off back in season 1.

The report does cite that this doesn't mean Daredevil, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson), or Punisher (Jon Bernthal) would get killed off in season 3. However, the actor mentions the villain Bullseye and continued teasing that the villain may finally get some screen time in season 3 despite the fact he may kill off several key characters.

"It's no secret, I've said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I'd like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it's a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Elodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn't want Bullseye to show up either," he stated.

Bullseye, in the original "Daredevil" comic books, killed both characters, and it is hinted that once he appears on the show both are likely to be killed off. However, Elektra had already been killed once, and by the end of season 2, it was revealed she could be revived over and over again. This puts a larger threat on Karen's (Deborah Ann Woll) life.

Netflix and Marvel TV have yet to confirm if Bullseye is indeed going to appear in season 3, which is set to premiere in 2018.
