It's quite obvious that Marvel treats its TV shows differently from its movies. The movies are more fun and the humor is always there. On the other hand, the street-level heroes on Netflix are undoubtedly grittier and edgier than their movie counterparts. Take "Daredevil" for example. Viewers can see the titular character in life-threatening situations, and nobody expected Ben Urich (Vondie Curtis-Hall) to die in the first season of the series. Even comic book fans were surprised by that move.

Charlie Cox, the actor portraying Matt Murdock/Daredevil, attended the Wizard World Comic Con at Pittsburg earlier this month and he reiterated that anyone could die and no one was really safe on the show.

Cox admitted that he was also shocked when Urich was killed off, but he understood why it was done. He said that some people who follow the show have read the comics, so they needed to shake things up to surprise these fans and deliver the message that no one was safe.

"You don't know what's going to happen. If we kill Ben Ulrich, what does that mean? We could do anything potentially," he stated (via ScreenGeek).

Cox has a point. Urich is alive and well in the comic books. And while the investigative journalist has butted heads with Kingpin in a number of occasions, Wilson Fisk never succeeded in silencing him permanently.

Cox also talked about how he would love to see Bullseye appear in the series.

"It's no secret, I've said it before and I get in trouble every time I say it, I'd like to see Bullseye make an appearance at some point. I think it's a really interesting opportunity. Deborah Ann Woll obviously does not want Bullseye to show up for obvious reasons. Élodie Yung, who plays Elektra, doesn't want Bullseye to show up either," he said.

Wouldn't it be ironic if a reborn Elektra dies again when she meets Bullseye? Nobody wants to die twice.

"Daredevil" season 3 will most likely air in 2018.
