"Daredevil" fans might be in for a big disappointment as season 3 of this live-action series might be delayed. The reason for this is that Netflix might start focusing on other projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

The second season for the series was released in March 2016. It had a generally positive reception from the viewers, after it introduced some new and memorable characters to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. A lot of fans found it to be much grittier than the first season which they liked as well.

However, despite of this, "Daredevil" season 3 will have to wait, primarily because its showrunners, Doug Petrie and Marco Ramirez, have signed a contract to become the showrunners for the upcoming "The Defenders" miniseries, according to Vine Report.

Furthermore, these showrunners' focus on this miniseries combined with the fact that Daredevil, played by Charlie Cox, is included among its main cast means that the future of the "Daredevil" series could prove to be unstable to say the least. With "The Defenders" scheduled to begin production by the end of the year, coupled with the fact that the series has not been renewed, the series might air way past its expected release in spring.

However, if ever the series will push through, Cox actually said that he wants Bullseye to show up as the main villain for the third season, according to an earlier Cinema Blend report. Fans of the comic series know that Bullseye is one of the Daredevil's most fervent archenemies who swore a personal vendetta against him.

This villain is known for his dead accuracy when it comes to projectile weapons and he can literally throw anything as an improvised projectile. But then again, if the great delay for "Daredevil" season 3 proves to be true, Bullseye will have to wait.
