'Daredevil' season 3 spoilers: Is Bullseye coming to Hell's Kitchen?

Charlie Cox stars as Matt Murdock in "Daredevil"Netflix

With "Daredevil" season 3 premiering in 2018, fans can expect no information to drop about the next adventure of Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), but even before it was renewed, Cox already has a story in mind.

The actor revealed earlier this year that his character should go toe to toe with Bullseye anytime soon. Whether or not "Daredevil" season 3 will make that happen remains to be seen.

Daredevil and Bullseye share a rich history in the comic book lore. The latter was even deemed one of the greatest villains that the Man without Fear has ever dealt with in the medium.

Bullseye, an assassin, has no superpowers, but the threat comes from his impeccable sniper skills, thus the name. He can turn anything into a weapon and a projectile and not miss. Making him more dangerous is his thirst for blood and to kill.

"I can't imagine doing a run of Daredevil where Bullseye doesn't show up at some point," Cox told Screenrant prior to the "Daredevil" season 3 renewal.

"Who would play that part I have no idea but I just think there's such an interesting, rich character there, and also, of course, the history that Bullseye has with Karen Page is an interesting dynamic," he went on to say.

Whether or not "Daredevil" season 3 will finally bring Bullseye to Hell's Kitchen remains to be seen. As to who will take on the role, fans have their trust on Netflix in choosing the right actor.

This is evident in the casting of Jon Bernthal as Frank Castle also known as The Punisher, which many say was the best part of the second season.

It is unclear if he will be back in "Daredevil" as the character is getting his own Netflix show set to premiere next year, according to the Netflix app.

As for "Daredevil" season 3, fans will have to wait for 2018. But it won't totally be a Daredevil drought, since the character is appearing in the "Defenders" miniseries. He might even be the one to bring the team together and lead.
