The "Dark Souls" series has that reputation of players rage-quitting at how hard the game can get, with their characters dying multiple times fighting against just one boss. If that is hard enough, let alone being able to finish the whole trilogy without ever getting hit. However, that is exactly what one streamer was able to do.

Streamer The_Happy_Hob took over a year to finish the whole three frustrating "Dark Souls" game completely with no damage taken ever. What makes this accomplishment even greater is that he does not repeat the specific game whenever he gets hit, he repeats the whole trilogy.

That said, he was actually super close to finishing this challenge last month until he got hit by the last boss of "Dark Souls 3." Clips in Twitch would show everyone how frustrated he was with it, being so close to making a record. Nevertheless, he got to finish the whole series anyway the next time he did the challenge.

After getting hit, he reversed the order of the series, doing the third title first and the first last. "We did it! Gaming history! Dark Souls history!" exclaims the streamer as he finally thrusts his spear into the final boss of the first "Dark Souls" game.

According to PC Gamer, he did use the Red Tearstone Ring that increases damage when at low health. He gets the bonus by taking fall damage. While some may think it is quite unfair, well then, there is another record that people can try doing: the whole "Dark Souls" trilogy without getting hit and no Red Tearstone Ring.

For now, all the glory goes to The_Happy_Hob for having successfully completed the feat. One can only imagine how much concentration it took to finish just one game with no deaths.
