According to a report from PlayStation Lifestyle, the new patch, 1.04, for "Dark Souls III" is now live for the PC, PS4 and Xbox One. The patch has been implemented seamlessly without the need to momentarily shut down the servers, ensuring players can keep enjoying the game even as the patch is implemented in the game.

The new patch slightly adjusts the overall performance of the "Greatsword," "Farron Flashsword" and "Soul's Greatsword" weapons and the patch will also adjust the battle performances for both the "Winged Knight Twinaxes" and the "Dancer's Enchanted Sword."

"Road of Sacrifices", "Farron Keep" and "Cathedral of the Deep" locations all suffered from a glitch were multiple items could not be used. This has since been fixed with the new patch. Patch 1.04 also addresses several in-game balancing issues and bugs.

A post from Reddit also reveals a regulation patch, 1.05, which will address several bugs. Some include an instance where Crystal Sage refused to appear after warping into the proper zone, a glitch that causes Knight Slayer Tsorig's gesturing animation to loop and a bug that would cause the Dragonslayer Armour to die before the fight even begins.

It is important to note that patch 1.04 for the consoles is labeled 1.03 for the PC.

From Software also announced that they are aware of the Regulations issues plaguing the Xbox One version of the game and the developers are currently working on a way to fix this problem. From Software will be making further announcements in the future regarding the matter.

Attack of the Fanboy reports that From Software will continue releasing future updates and patches, although an exact schedule of future releases has not been announced. It is likely they will be launched as soon as the developers can get something working to address noticeable bugs, glitches, performance issues and balancing issues.
