'Days of Our Lives' March 28 to April 1 spoilers: Steve to be locked up in prison for good?

NBC

"Days of Our Lives" is about to see a lot of trouble brew as Steve (Stephen Nichols) may be locked up in prison for good and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) will be taken to the hospital and fight for her life, according to a list of events from She Knows Soaps.

According to the report, the week will start with the DiMera compound being compromised as the guards realize something on the perimeter isn't as it should. While this is a very vague synopsis, it does suggest that someone, perhaps even a thief or hitman, may be prowling around the compound to do some harm.

Theresa (Jen Lilley) will lose her engagement ring during the Tuesday episode, although the plot synopsis does not reveal how or where she may have lost it and what kind of consequences she may be facing. It is likely that Brady (Eric Martsolf) will get really angry and this may lead to some physical altercation between the two.

Victor (John Aniston) will be accompanying Maggie to the hospital on Wednesday, although the exact reason has not been stated as of the time being. Maggie is the longest-running character on the show and it is likely that the character may be killed off if Rogers intends to retire from acting soon.

This becomes even more likely when the synopsis for the Friday episode reveals Victor will have to make a life-and-death decision, likely a medical choice of whether or not to keep Maggie on life support if she is in a coma. If this does not turn out well then the series may see Maggie officially exit the series, ending her run that began in 1973.

Another plot line will develop on Thursday, March 31, when the Hernandez family gives Eduardo (A. Martinez) a second chance to prove himself.
