It is the end of the line for Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope's (Kristian Alfonso) relationship, at least for now. "Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that not only will this couple break up, but their split will lead to a very surprising turn of events.

After Hope and Rafe get into a big fight, Hope will give her engagement ring back. She will leave Rafe to sulk, and he will eventually meet with Sami (Alison Sweeney), who will also be feeling down at this time. This meeting will lead to their already foreseen hookup in Sami's hotel room.

While Rafe and Sami are hitting the sack, Hope will receive some words of guidance from Jennifer (Melissa Reeves). Hope will start to think that maybe they did not need to break up. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) will also give her mother her two cents on this problem. The two of them might wind up talking about Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope might come to the conclusion that she never really stepped back and gave herself some time to grieve after his death.

Hope might realize that she let her own issues get in the way of her relationship with Rafe. Then again, Rafe is not completely innocent in this situation, as he is not only taking Hope's commissioner position, but he will also hurl some very ugly comments during their big fight. Fans know how Rafe can get most of the time so this fight is really his fault to begin with.

Fortunately, Rafe will have a chance to make things right. Unfortunately, this chance will come after he has already slept with Sami. Hope will suddenly arrive at Sami's door, and Rafe will panic. He will get out of the bed and hide before Hope catches him. She will then ask Sami if she has seen Rafe anywhere, and she might add that she is hoping to make things right with Rafe.

Hope is unknowingly piling on some guilt for these two, Rafe most especially. She will eventually catch up with him and apologize for how things turn out. Hope will want to start things again, so Rafe will most probably agree. He will have to deal with some crushing guilt while he is at it too. Rafe will not pull a bold move and admit that he hooked up with Sami less than 24 hours after their breakup. It seems that Rafe will have to carry some guilt until the truth gets out.

Speaking of Ciara, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers suggest that trouble might be in the horizon for Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). Ciara is back in Salem, and she has a bone to pick with Claire and definitely involves Theo (Kyler Pettis).

Ciara will naturally be devastated over her best friend's situation. She will worry that Theo might not wake up, which would lead to a lot of guilt. As viewers know, Ciara was infuriated when she found out that Theo had been coaching Wyatt (Scott Shilstone) about her likes and dislikes. Ciara felt that Theo thought she could not get a boyfriend on her own.

She also found out that Claire stole her letter to Theo. It became too much for Ciara, so she left for Hong Kong. She will worry about how Theo felt or still feels about her. She will worry that he still thought she was mad at him. Ciara might blame Claire for pushing her to her limit. Ciara might point out that she would not have left Salem if Claire had not been so spiteful and jealous.

Yet that is only part of Ciara's problems with Claire's behavior. She might think that Claire was not looking out for her boyfriend. Fans know how harsh she was on Theo before he got shot. Ciara might say that not only did Claire steal Theo from her, she could not even treat him well. Claire might understand some of Ciara's concerns since she is also dealing with her guilt.

Then again, fans know that Claire will not take Ciara's complaints sitting down. A heated argument is definitely expected down the road. Although Claire might try to defend herself, Ciara will not care about Claire's attempts to justify her behavior nor the insults she will hurl at her. Ciara will be determined to get revenge and make Claire sorry for everything she has done.
