'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: Ciara, Claire fall in love with Tripp; Steve plans to take Kate down

There is already an existing love triangle on "Days of Our Lives," but spoilers indicate that another one may be brewing. Could Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) wind up liking the same person?

First things first; Ciara will insist that she should pay Theo (Kyler Pettis) a visit. She will ask around for a chance to spend some time with her best friend. Ciara clearly wants to tell Theo how she feels, even if he will not be able to say anything in return for now. She just wants Theo to feel her presence and maybe even sense that she cares about him.

The two have known each other for a long time and Theo obviously regretted what he did before Ciara left, so hopefully, everything will be okay between them down the line.

Theo's situation definitely hit Ciara close to home. She has been through quite a lot and Theo's stunt with Wyatt (Scott Shilstone) was only the tip of the iceberg. Life has been tough on her, so it is quite understandable that Ciara is acting the way she is at the moment.

But of course, she also left things on a very bad note with Claire, so she will take her anger out on her niece. There will undoubtedly be tension whenever they are in the same room.

Tripp (Lucas Adams) will also be able to meet Ciara and after he sees her outbursts, he will decide to step in and mediate. Fans know he likes Claire, so he does not want to see her having a hard time. Tripp will most probably think of a way to get them to make amends.

Tripp has made some bad decisions in the past, but deep down he is really a good guy. If there is a way to get the two women to make up, Tripp will definitely be on board with it.

Perhaps, he will have a talk with Ciara and maybe urge her to go easy on Claire. He may even note that she is also having a hard time. They need to stick together now more than ever for Theo's sake, instead of letting grudges take over and drive them apart even more.

Ciara's anger towards her niece will eventually go away, especially when Theo wakes up. She will likely be grateful to Tripp for being able to keep the peace between them.

Theo leaving Salem in the new year this could leave Ciara and Claire becoming bitter rivals once again. This time, it could be for Tripp. Theo will need to be out of Salem for a year to recover from his stroke, so Claire might try to wait for him initially, but that might not last. If Ciara starts to like Tripp, Claire might let the green-eyed monster take over her again. Should her aunt try and get a shot at Tripp? Will Claire forget about Theo and move on from him too?

Elsewhere, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) will do something about Kate (Lauren Koslow). Once they find out that Kate is blackmailing Tripp due to the evidence he came across, they will warn her to back off. Steve and Kayla will not sit for this continued blackmail. It seems that Steve will figure out that Kate is actually to blame for Theo's situation.

He will obviously think that Kate should not stay silent while other people are suffering. Fans know that Abe (James Reynolds) is desperate for justice to be served and JJ (Casey Moss) is struggling with intense guilt. Both of them need Kate to come forward. At least JJ could feel like he is not entirely to blame for Theo's condition. Plus, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) is being thrown under the bus because of Kate's mistakes.

Chad (Billy Flynn) is even convinced that Andre is to blame, and Kate should not get away with it. She should have known better than that.

Nevertheless, Steve will take matters into his own hands. He will come up with a way to trap Kate and bring her down. While the plan has its risks, Steve is determined to make things right. However, fans know more than anything that Kate can be very slick, so Steve will have to be extra careful if he wants to make her confess. She is very jumpy lately, so her paranoia could take over her. This could leave him at a disadvantage so he will have to have a solid plan.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays, 1 p.m. EST on NBC.
