This Halloween on "Days of Our Lives," things will certainly get creepy both in Salem and in Memphis. Spoilers reveal that several characters will pop up in time for the spooky season.

For starters, fans can look forward to seeing Paige (True O'Brien) and Serena (Melissa Archer) in Salem, perhaps as visions more than in the flesh. Dr. Rolf (William Utay) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) will also make an appearance in this scary holiday. Previous spoilers have already suggested that Ben may be giving Abigail (Marci Miller) quite a scare at the DiMera mansion as well, so viewers can expect that.

Back at Memphis, Sami (Alison Sweeney), Marlena (Deidre Hall), and John (Drake Hogestyn) will find themselves face to face with Susan (Eileen Davidson). Susan will also drop some shocking information, which will bring them a step closer to finding Will (Chandler Massey).

Of course, there is a chance that Paul (Christopher Sean) might beat them to the punch. It seems that he could see Will around somewhere and not tell anyone. Whether or not he tells the group remains to be seen, but should he keep quiet about it, that is going to bring his relationship with Sonny (Freddie Smith) down a rockier road.

At the DiMera side of things, Theo (Kyler Pettis) will put his hacking skills to use to figure out who is sabotaging DiMera Enterprises. He will fortunately find some clues and give Kate (Lauren Koslow) updates. While she will be pleased that Theo is making progress in this investigation, she will continue to push Theo.

However, Theo may have more pressing matters to worry about, like his life for one. He may be caught in the midst of a showdown between JJ (Casey Moss) and another person. JJ will end up accidentally shooting and paralyzing Theo. This incident will definitely bring a divide between the citizens of Salem.

Moving back to what is going to happen this Halloween, "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that the return of the characters previously mentioned will haunt some current Salem residents. With Abigail, it is finding out that Ben will escape police custody, and perhaps on his way to scare her. There is a chance that Ben's escape is only a nightmare that she will have. Then again, Ben's escape could only be the beginning. Abigail will inevitably worry about what is to come during this time.

Chad (Billy Flynn) will also have to cope with this nightmare as well. He and Ben have always been at odds with each other, most especially when it comes to Abigail and Thomas.

Steve (Stephen Nichols) will also have a nightmare of his own. He will learn some news about Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) that will leave him devastated. Just like Abigail, this might all just be a dream, a nightmare that involves something horrible that happened to her. Fortunately, he will be relieved later on; he will likely wake up and learn that everything is fine.

As for Tripp (Lucas Adams), the holiday will leave him feeling lonely. He will also join in on the mayhem. It is possible that he could find himself imagining what it would be like to date Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan), or he could imagine getting Theo out of the way so he could get to her. Either way, expect some crazy thoughts to pop up in Tripp's head.

"Days of Our Lives" airs Mondays to Fridays at 12 p.m. EDT on NBC.
