Susan and Will face off with Sonny and Sami in "Days of Our Lives"

There are those who resort to drastic measures when it comes to trying to save the ones they love. "Days of Our Lives" spoilers reveal that Sami (Alison Sweeney) will be doing just that.

Previously, Sami and Sonny (Freddie Smith) finally saw Will (Chandler Massey) in the flesh. However, Will has been brainwashed into thinking that he is EJ DiMera (then played by James Scott), and thinks of Sami as the evil ex-wife. He does not remember who Sonny is, nor the life they shared together.

This leads Sami to take a crazy measure in an attempt to bring Will's memories back, and it involves Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), and this time around, Ben will seem like the perfectly sane one. Sami will force Ben to do the craziest thing imaginable, at least in a setting like this anyway. She will have Ben kidnapped by using some men she hired and when she tells Ben what she wants him to do, even he will think that she is insane and is terrified of her actions. It seems that Ben is the only person who can make Will remember everything.

However, do not expect him to do it gently. Some psychological trauma is involved just to make Will remember everything again. It is possible that this could mentally break Will, but it is a risk that Sami is willing to take. She believes that Ben needs to kill Will again, or at least be in the process of doing so. According to her, reliving the trauma of his first death will trigger the flashbacks and therefore make him remember who he really is.

Fans should keep in mind that Will and Ben were actually good friends, which is the reason why Ben does not want to take part in Sami's experiment. He may have strangled Will the first time, but he was not thinking straight when it happened. When Ben meets with Sami, he will have a moment of clarity. Ben understands how crazy this plan is, but Sami will force him to do it.

Knowing that even Ben thinks it is insane to make Will go through it again says something. Yet, Sami seems to be as determined as ever to make him remember who he is, even if he might not forgive her for what she did once he remembers.

There are two possible outcomes to this experiment. First, the plan would work and just before Will is about to die, he remembers everything. The second outcome is that he will die again without even remembering everything – unless, of course, they have access to Dr. Rolf's (William Utay) medical bag, where a syringe with the resurrection formula could be, but it is a far off chance.

Meanwhile, it was previously revealed that Kristen DiMera (Eileen Davidson) would be coming back. "Days of Our Lives" spoilers indicate that she was trying to impersonate Susan (Eileen Davidson), as revealed by the November promo for the coming episodes. However, while the promo did show that she was disguised as Susan, there is an important scene that happens between the current and future scenes.

The promo reveals Kristen taking off her wig and cackling. There is also a scene in the promo that shows her slapping Sami as well. Fans and longtime viewers would know that Susan would not be able to lift a hand on anyone, but Kristen definitely could. However, this impersonation will not be happening until later on.

As of now, it is the real Susan in the current storyline. This is because of the way she interacts with Will or "EJ" as well as her demeanor. Ralph (John Enos) a.k.a. Elvis will eventually tell Will the truth, and Susan will be forced to admit that she lied before she urges Will to leave town with her.

In the next few weeks, Susan will get a visitor, and the visitor in question would likely be Kristen. As seen from the promo, Kristen may have gotten rid of Susan and immediately takes her place. She might have locked her up somewhere since she has done it before. Then again, Kristen could give Susan a way out of her situation, which is likely what could happen.

Once Kristen takes Susan's place, she can set her revenge scheme in motion. Fans know that her return means that she is out for blood, and she is coming after a lot of people, mainly Marlena (Deidre Hall), who pushed her out the window the last time she was seen.
