'Days of Our Lives' spoilers: JJ tries to trap Clyde

Last week on "Days of Our Lives," it was revealed that Ben is the Necktie Killer, but all the evidence that the police has so far incriminates Chad. At the shack, Chad remembered that a homeless man asked him what the time was on the night of the murders and that he tried to steal Chad's watch. He thought that if he found the man, he'll get his alibi.

Chad disguised himself with some shabby clothes and was able to find the man, who told him that Chad was very drunk when he asked him the time. Chad asked him to go to the police with him, but the man refused. After thinking it over, the man said that he'd do it for a hundred thousand dollars. But when Chad got the money from his father, the man didn't remember their conversation at all and ran away from him.

Luckily for Chad, Marlena isn't entirely convinced that he tried to kill her. She told Rafe that it made no sense for Chad to save her if he was only going to kill her. She recalled that he was looking for an alibi and that he had a fight with someone when Serena was killed.

This week, Chad, Andre and Stefano will work together to help Chad prove his innocence, but they're looking at the wrong man—Clyde. They thought that Clyde's previous behavior toward Chad makes him the most likely person to frame him for the murders. They'll try to gain more information as they try to clear Chad's name. Meanwhile, another person in Salem falls victim to the Necktie Killer, and Will stumbles upon some evidence that points to the killer.
