"DC's Legends of Tomorrow," the newest offering in The CW's expanding DC small screen universe, is making headway. The excitement for the series, continues to scale up, especially because there is little known about the time travel-related dealings of the new band of heroes and villains.

The stars of the new series, which serves as the junction of two other successful DC Comics-inspired shows, have already been revealed. Select characters from its parent series "The Flash" and "Arrow" as well as completely new ones will make up the ragtag pack.

In a new DC All Access episode, the cast members let fans in on some details so they would have an idea on what to expect when the new series tears through the small screen in January.

Franz Drameh, a newbie in the show who was introduced to play the role of a footballer turned mechanic named Jay Jackson, kept details to a minimum about how his character will fit in to the Vandal Savage issue. It is believed that the actor's character will eventually become Cyborg as the description for Jay Jackson resembles that of Cyborg's. But when asked about the possibility of having metal in his character's body, the star simply said that fans will have to wait and see.

Ciara Renee, on the other hand, had so much to say about her character, Hawkgirl, who had a cameo appearance in the season finale of "The Flash." The actress believes that "Legends of Tomorrow" will tell the story of the superhero.

"I think what we're kind of looking to do is to meld some of the story lines that Hawkgirl has had over the years together, so yeah, it will be interesting," the actress said. "This is her origin."

Meanwhile, Brandon Routh, who plays The Atom in "Arrow" and now in "Legends of Tomorrow," believes that his character will be the one to bring his teammates together while Rip Hunter, to be played by Arthur Davill, will serve as the leader due to his knowledge on the "new threat."

Caity Lotz seems to be excited to play a new version of her character. Black Canary was killed off in "Arrow" and was resurrected through the Lazarus Pit as White Canary only to become a legend. It will be interesting to see how her rebirth comes into play across the continuity of the DC Comics shows.

"She's going to be very interesting because of her circumstances and her back story," Lotz shared. "She definitely is going to have dealt with some things that no one else has."

Meanwhile, up to now, there are still no signs if Robbie Amell, who plays half of Firestorm, will star in "Legends of Tomorrow." Victor Garber, however, promised that his onscreen partner "will be around."

Lastly, Captain Cold's and Heatwave's inclusion in the team is viewed by actor Wentworth Miller as something that will change his character "for the better." In the trailer, Captain Cold has his hesitations about destroying the world.

"DDC's Legends of Tomorrow" is shaping up pretty nicely and the pilot episode of the series is expected to air in January next year.
