In the next episode of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," the team has to fix an anachronism that happens to be in P.T. Barnum's (Billy Zane) fledgling circus in 1870.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "Freakshow" was recently released and showed the whole team including Ray Palmer a.k.a. The Atom (Bradon Routh), Dr. Martin Stein (Victor Garber), Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), and Mick Rory a.k.a. Heatwave (Dominic Purcell) investigating Barnum's circus. "This is a classic slice of Americana," Palmer tells the group as he stands in awe of the famous circus in history.

"I speak of a creature from the distant past," ringleader Barnum tells the mesmerized crowd. The anachronism the Legends seemingly are looking for is a saber-toothed tiger that possibly jumped from the prehistoric era to 1870. Palmer finds the legendary tiger in a cage and shows it to Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh) and Nate Heywood (Nick Zano) who both look surprised.

They free the tiger and let it aboard their time-travelling spaceship called the Waverider. However, their actions are not without any resistance from Barnum and his circus thugs. The Legends get into a fight with the circus handlers and it remains to be seen how the situation will end up in the episode.

In the previous installment, the Legends were put out of commission by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) because of their reckless actions which messed up the timeline and created anachronisms. However, Palmer and the group decided to correct one of their mistakes by returning Julius Caesar (Simon Merrells) to his own time. Hunter noticed their efforts and decided to let them have the Waverider and go on their own missions to correct the timeline.

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" season 3 episode 2 will hit the airwaves on Tuesday, Oct. 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on the CW.
