With just two weeks before the premiere of "DC's Legends of Tomorrow," The CW has finally shed some light on the personality of the Hawkman.

The network released a new trailer that focused on Carter Hall's (Falk Hentschel) alter ego to reveal why he is eternally bound with Kendra Saunders/Hawkgirl (Ciara Renee).

The trailer began when the Green Arrow (Stephen Amell) and The Flash (Grant Gustin) were interrogating the winged creature. That was when they found out that he and Kendra were reincarnated from the past. The video montage also showed that he was once a prince and a warrior in his past life.

The network released another trailer showing the group of villains and heroes that were gathered by Rip Hunter (Arthur Darvill) to help him stop Vandal Savage (Casper Crump) from destroying the world.

The previous teaser showed the group, composed of Dr. Stein/Firestorm (Victor Garber), the other Firestorm Jax Jackson (Franz Drameh), Sara Lance/White Canary (Caity Lotz), Ray Palmer/The Atom (Brandon Routh), Mick Rory/Heat Wave (Dominic Purcell), and Leonard Snart/Captain Cold (Wentworth Miller), as they traveled back in time.

In the video, Dr. Stein and the rest of the group met his younger self when they visited his college campus. "My hair, it's so thick," the doctor said upon meeting his 1970s version. Sara Lance was also impressed with the young Stein and even accepted his invitation to smoke a joint.

The rest of the video showed how the misfits from the "Arrow" and "The Flash" series will showcase their power to defeat the ultimate baddie in "Legends of Tomorrow."

The official synopsis for "DC's Legends of Tomorrow" reads:

"When heroes alone are not enough... the world needs legends. Having seen the future, one he will desperately try to prevent from happening, time-traveling rogue Rip Hunter is tasked with assembling a disparate group of both heroes and villains to confront an unstoppable threat –- one in which not only is the planet at stake, but all of time itself. Can this ragtag team defeat an immortal threat unlike anything they have ever known?"

"DC's Legends of Tomorrow" premieres on Jan. 21, on The CW.
