"Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" will be welcoming a new fighter in the battlefield. A short clip teased the character by showing off only her torso. But even without her face shown, media outlets know that this mystery fighter is Naotora Ii, who joins the game all the way from Koei Tecmo's hack and slack series "Samurai Warriors."

The character, known prominently as the Female Landlord and whose weapon of choice are bladed boots, is expected to bump up the fighting game's roster. The character is known for her optimism and shyness.

It is being said that Naotora Ii will become a playable character in the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC versions by March next year but she will be available a little earlier in the arcade version of the fighting game.

Koei Tecmo has more has more treats for "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" fans. In the recent APM D-1 Fighting Festival tournament in Japan, where the Naotora Ii teaser was first screened, game producer Yosuke Hayashi also took the stage to announce a new set of costume coming to the game.

Players of the fighting game will be treated to a Tatsunoko Mashup costume set next month so they can start their gaming year right. Koei Tecmo is collaborating with the acclaimed animation company to bring costumes from classic anime television series.

Outfits of Ai-Chan and Doronjo from "Yatterman" (including a Yatterman Night version of the latter) will be made available in "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" in January as well as garbs from the hit shows "Golden Warrior Gold Lightan" and "Nurse Witch Komugi-chan."

Earlier this month, the Core Fighters pack was made available. By downloading the 9.56-GB update, characters Ayane, Hayate, Kasumi, and Ryu Hayabusa were added with "nearly every game mode" made available.
