"Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" was originally promoted as a current-gen and last-gen title. However, game outlets started to report that a PC version of the forthcoming title by Team Ninja may be on the cards. The news broke out when the Entertainment Software Rating Board put up a rating for the game, listing it as a game for PS4, Xbox One and PC. This news came as a delight to everyone awaiting its advent. For one, Attack of the Fan Boy finds it very interesting, leaving it to hope that the upcoming game will actually come to PCs. 

KPop Starz, on the other hand, has jumped into the rumors even deeper and reported that a digital copy downloadable online will actually be made available for PS3 and Xbox 360, while PS4 and Xbox One gamers will get it as a physical one. It even added that the current-gen gamers will have to purchase the title for $29.99 and last-gen gamers are in for a $39.99 price tag. The same site also reported that "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" will include the largest roster in the whole of the franchise complemented with more than 300 bonuses like costumes and hairstyles. Lastly, a brand new game engine is said to run "Last Round," making it nothing but a major show stopper. Fans would love to see all this goodness, but the actual materialization of these remain unconfirmed. 

As previously announced, "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" will have Raidou as the players' main adversary. The site even compared the fiend's skill set to that of Kasumi and Hayate, and added that Raidou practices the Mugen Tenshin style of Ninjutsu. Despite that, Raidou will be notable for pilfering others' styles and techniques and making them his own. 

Furthermore, Team Ninja, as per Siliconera, revealed that in the upcoming title, the antagonist would have lost his memory of the "Dead or Alive" games. It is revealed that Raidou will undergo a "cybernetic upgrade" and the game will have him come back as a "half-mechanized killing machine" after his death during the "Dead or Alive" tournament. His cybernetic integration seems to have cost him his memory but his quench for power remains intact. 

North America, Japan and Europe will see "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round"  by Feb. 17, Feb. 19 and Feb. 20 next year, respectively.
