Team Ninja released a new footage showing a comparison between "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" in PS3 and PS4 before the PS4 and the Xbox One editions come out. The game studio has opted to use Soft Engine for the game's current-gen version, which should make the skin of the characters look softer and the textures and shadows more improved. In the video, the difference between the game with Soft Engine and the one without it were delved into and in such a unique and intriguing manner, too.

There are also new details about the DLCs and limited edition bonuses for "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round." There is a Core Fighters version of the game wherein players can get into all the modes except the Story Mode. Gamers will get full access to all the characters and the Story Mode when they purchase the full version of "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" although Xbox One rockers will not be able to upgrade from the demo to the full game.

While using Core Fighters would allow fights against owners of the full game, players with this special demo can only play as Kasumi, Ayane, Ryu Hayabusa and Hayate. Koei Tecmo is including Hitomi, Jann Lee, Bass, and Tina in "Dead or Alive 5: Last Round" Core Fighters but the price is yet to be arranged.

Those who are still reliving the glory of "Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate" can get the "Last Round Pack" to upgrade their version to "Last Round" while keeping everything from the previous game intact, including all DLCs and records.

There is also a set of costume packs that will be for the taking. This includes the "First-time Sexy Costume," which provides alternate attires for Honoka, Marie Rose, Nyotengu and Phase 4. Then there is the "Ninja 2015 Costume," which is especially tailored to make Kasumi, Ayane, Hayate and Ryu Hayabusa look ominously stunning. And last and definitely the biggest of the bunch is the "Soft Sexy Costume," which includes 18 costumes, an original soundtrack CD, a history book, Marie Rose 3D mouse pad, a tapestry, four mini-figures and eight B2-size bath posters.

Meanwhile, "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" producer Yosuke Hayashi has expressed his interest in making another "Xtreme Beach Volleyball" game for current-gen consoles. The last one came out almost a decade ago and it was exclusive to Xbox 360. Team Ninja is said to be considering making one to explore the potentials of the hardware of the newer gaming consoles. However, demand should be high enough to get the project going. Should the game be greenlit, Soft Engine will also be used for it.

"Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" for the Xbox One, PS4 and the Xbox 360 is up for grabs today. The PS3 version will arrive on Feb. 24 while the PC version will be released on March 30.
