Microsoft has released yet another promotional trailer for the zombie action game "Dead Rising 4" which gives the Yule Log tradition a unique and bloody twist, much to the fans' delight. As such, the game is even more hyped up than ever, and avid fans of the franchise can not wait to play title game once it gets released.

According to Game Rant, the rush of Triple-A games for the holiday season could well be over at this point, but Microsoft still wants to remind their fans that "Dead Rising 4" will be released soon enough. The latest installment in this long-running franchise is sort of a return since the protagonist from the first game — Frank West — is back as the main character and the game will be set in Willamette, Colorado, once again.

This video is pretty different compared to the others released before it as it aims to get people into the festive holiday spirit. Previously released videos for "Dead Rising 4" were usually teasers that showed the game's over-the-top mechanics fans have come to love. The 21-minute video gives its own bloody take on the classic Yule Log tradition. Instead of wooden logs crackling to keep a fireplace blazing, severed zombie body parts are instead tossed into the flames.

At certain intervals, someone throws in more zombie parts to keep the fire from burning out. The figure also stokes the flames with a baseball bat covered in barbed wire and Christmas lights. The strange video is worth watching as it is the first time that the game's promotional material used the holidays as its theme.

"Dead Rising 4" is going to be released on Tuesday, Dec. 6, on the Xbox One and the PC, according to Game N Guide.

However, there are rumors on the internet which say that PS4 players won't be left out as the game will allegedly be released for Sony's current generation console. Once "Dead Rising 4's" time-based exclusivity runs out, the game could still be released for the console as well as on Steam for PC gamers.
