|TOP|The drummer of the popular Christian British rock band Delirious? will swim, cycle, and run over 140 miles to support two charities, Links International and The Wire.

Stew Smith will raise money for charity when he takes part in the Ironman Triathlon, a triathlon sanctioned by the World Triathlon Corporation held in the U.S.

“I suppose we're used to travelling quite a long way in a day. So in some ways the 20th of August this year is no big deal; I'll be covering about 140 miles. The only difference is that it’s my legs alone that are going to be doing the carrying,” Smith shared.

This is first time Smith has ever taken part in the Ironman Triathlon.

“How do I feel? Scared. Very scared,” he shared.

|AD|“But there's a bigger picture that I've got in mind... I want to raise money to help two amazing charities I know.”

Delirious? continues to spread their message of ‘painting the town red’ and proclaiming the love of Jesus through various ways.

The band recently announced a UK tour with worship artist Tim Hughes, when they will embark on ‘The Mission Bell Tour’ throughout October and November.

"Touring the UK is always special," explains Martin Smith, lead singer of Delirious?, "but there's something about these next 13 dates that we're all particularly hungry for. The chance to see the church uniting, praising and going out to serve a world in need is a huge privilege."
