Dell's Inspiron 7000 line has released a third iteration called the Inspiron 7577. It is an inexpensive gaming laptop sporting a casual look with an all-black exterior motif.

For the past two years, Dell has been making gaming laptops that although reaches out to the budget range, still performs shoulder-to-shoulder with the rest of the competition. The Dell Inspiron 7577 houses a GTX 1060 built under the designs of Max-Q technology and runs on a Kaby Lake i7 7700HQ. What this basically means is that this laptop is built to perform like a top-tier gaming laptop.

There is a slight, albeit obvious rework of the exterior designs with a more streamlined vents on the back. There is nothing flashy in the new design but it does look a bit similar to an Alienware product. The keyboard will make users feel that this unit should have been priced a bit higher than the $1000 price range. Key travel is good for any gamer, with a red backlight that silently speaks of gamer DNA.

One more notable feature is that the trackpad that uses Windows Precision Drivers, which makes for good tracking. As an extra treat, the power button has a fingerprint sensor.

The Inspiron 7577 has an In-plane Switching Panel (IPS) which will make the screen color accurate to a decent level as well as good levels of brightness. The ports in the side include a security lock slot, a charging port, an RJ 45 Ethernet, an SD card reader, and three USB 3s. The right side of the laptop houses the headset, microphone jack, and the High-Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI) 2.0 port.

Making this unit a cut above the rest is a thunderbolt 3 port. Plugging an external Graphics Processing Unit (GPU) will yield maximum bandwidth because of the four panels of Peripheral Component Interconnect Express (PCIe).

Battery life will give gamers a maximum of four hours. One more thing that the Dell Inspiron 7577 excels at is the thermal management. Long gaming sessions will not bring out throttling in this gaming laptop. Andrew Tran has released a video on how to access the internals of the laptop.

Performance wise, "Overwatch" and "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds" players will get a good gaming experience from the Dell Inspiron 7577, because the Core Clock and the Boost Clock will run at slower speeds making the fans do less of their work, which makes the entire system do their work a bit more efficient.
