The days are numbered for Denver Broncos' Mark Sanchez. The team is said to be in talks with the Dallas Cowboys to take in Sanchez for a trade. The Broncos is also rumored to be interested in acquiring Colin Kaepernick from the San Francisco 49ers.

Tony Romo's back injury has opt Dallas to be on a lookout for another quarterback. Romo will be requiring a few months off, approximately six to 10 weeks, in order to recuperate from the injury and will put rookie fourth-round pick Dak Presscott on the starting lineup, multiple sources reported.

Now the team is worried that since Presscott has never started a regular-season game he may have some struggles to overcome as Romo's replacement. Nevertheless, the whole team is comfortable with him joining the starting lineup.

Presscott is also much better compared to Sanchez. Preseason showed that Presscot has completed 10-of-12 passes for 139 yards, with two touchdown, on the first week and have much improved during the second week. Meanwhile, Sanchez never had a chance to be on the starting lineup for the team. He lost it to second-year quarterback Trevor Siemian, which puts Sanchez number 3 on the list.

In another news, Sport Rageous reported that speculations put Broncos to be interested with 49ers QB Kaepernick, and said to be discussing terms for both teams. It is speculated that this was brought about by controversy in San Francisco during the off season.

John Elway, Broncos' general manager said last April that he wanted Kaepernick for the fourth round pick in a future draft, and he also wanted him to take a pay cut to move to Denver, which was declined by the quarterback.

It is now rumored that Kaepernick lost his quarterback job when his team chose Blaine Gabbert as their starter. He may now reconsider the Broncos' offer, who also happens to be defending champion.
