"Destiny 2's" most awaited downloadable content, the "Curse of Osiris" has been live since a few days ago, and it definitely adds a lot to the main game. Along with all the new content, a lot of changes were made as well. Unfortunately, not everyone was in favor of the changes.

With the "Curse of Osiris" DLC, developer Bungie has added the biggest update to "Destiny 2" to date. There is a whole new region called "Mercury" to explore, which means there will be more missions, gear, weapons, and of course, Strikes. Thankfully, despite the delay of the PC launch of the main game, the expansion was made available for all platforms of the game.

With the DLC, a big patch update has been released, which players can check out on Bungie's website. On the technical side, "Destiny 2" can now be played on resolutions up to 4K on both the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro. Fortunately, this patch is not exactly an exclusive for those with "Curse of Osiris."

Speaking of exclusives, the patch that came with the DLC apparently had locked some end-game features of the main game which were previously free to play, as per Polygon. As "Curse of Osiris" came out, gamers find themselves restricted. Gamers looked forward to raids and Nightfall strikes with its Prestige versions offering a bigger challenge and thus bigger rewards.

Understandably, the game's level requirement for the regular and prestige versions went up as the level cap also was raised to 330 from 300. However, what made it seem unfair was making the prestige version now only exclusive to players with "Curse of Osiris." Sadly, Bungie has not addressed these complaints yet.

"Destiny 2" launched back in September for the PlayStation (PS) 4 and Xbox One, with the PC version coming out a few months later. It only took a few weeks for gamers to reach the max level, hitting the ceiling of their power. Gamers, especially those addicted to the game, found themselves running out of new content to play with. This was what led to the hype for the "Curse of Osiris" expansion.
