Expect more from "Destiny 2" when it comes to its seasons format.

In a recent TwitchCon event, video game developer Bungie detailed how "Destiny 2's" seasons model will shake up the game and teased players in terms of what they can look forward to when the second season of the game arrives.

The developer explained some changes they made which they call "rituals" much like Iron Banner and Faction Rally. Bungie also stated that The Dawning, its holiday-themed event that was adapted from the original "Destiny," will be making a comeback.

Bungie said that the new seasons model will give them the opportunity to make drastic changes to the game which includes tuning and balancing to accommodate the game's multiplayer sandbox.

The developer added that the new concept's aim is to provide players with a predictable pace for content updates. The seasonal changes will see specific items being swapped in and out. The new seasons will also give new experiences for players through its ever-changing theme.

The second season of "Destiny 2" will have the return of The Dawning. The seasonal experience will appear along with some changes to the Tower and the Farm. The turn of the seasons will also have an effect on clans and clan banners. Season 2 will reset clan rank along with the perks that players get from having their clan banners.

Another change being introduced in "Destiny 2" involves Faction Rally. The event where players plead their loyalty to three different factions — Dead Orbit, New Monarchy and Future War Cult — will now have players in season 2 being able to get faction armor by representing their group.

On the other hand, the changes that Bungie will be making for Iron Banner is that now, players will have the option to buy Iron Banner armaments using their tokens and Legendary Shards.

The community manager for "Destiny 2," David "DeeJ" Dague recently sent out a tweet saying that Bungie will not be having its yearly Halloween event. That festival will be replaced by The Dawning which is set to happen this winter.
